Keeping up with technology

With HTML 5 now being entrenched in the market place, technology changes, coded development updates and editor advancements, Red Paris have upgraded their platform editor.

This will mean that the editor will work correctly with Internet Explorer 10 and 11 as well as ensuring the hard work you do in your administration reflects to your website across ALL browsers.

What does this mean for you ??

Tables

  • This is the biggest change.
  • Inserting a table is much the same.
  • No more 'cell properties' ... I know, apparently we trust our clients more than the rest of the world does.
  • The only way to manipulate a cell is by using the Edit CSS Styles button which we have kept from the old version (hence the weird pop up box)
  • Unfortunately though you can't apply it to an entire row / column but will need to do for each cell.
  • Right Click is going to become your new best friend, there is lots in there.
  • Still ensure you use the Path at the bottom of the editor when you are doing any cell or table manipulation.

Order of things

  • Run your mouse over the buttons to see their functionality to get used to the new look.
